Sarah trained at the Sylvia Young Theatre School and the Royal Academy of Music.
Shortly after graduating, Sarah joined the company of the Olivier Award-winning production of Sunday in the Park With George playing Celeste 1 at the Menier Chocolate Factory, which also transferred to the Wyndham’s Theatre, in the West End. This was followed by playing the part of Columbia in the UK tour of The Rocky Horror Show. Sarah was involved in the original production of the critically acclaimed musical Eurobeat Almost Eurovision, at the Pleasance Theatre, Edinburgh and other theatre work includes the Sondheim 75th Birthday Gala at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Most recently Sarah could be seen in We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre) and the popular concert series So Jest End at the Leicester Square Theatre.
Her TV credits include: the regular character of Alison Peters in EastEnders, Samantha and Julie in Little Britain, Jess in Casualty, Keeley Porter in Hope and Glory (series 1,2 and 3), herself in The Fame Game, Annabell in Anything’s Possible, Sarah in Chalk, Zara in The Biz, Chelsea Fenton in Club Dad and Rebecca Wade in I Hate This House.
Sarah also played the lead role of Anna in the feature film, Ashes and Sand.
Radio includes: Fredrika Armfeldt in A Little Night Music, Gracie Shinn in The Music Man, Louise in Carousel, and Fiddler on the Roof (BBC Radio 2); Jane in Children of the Blitz, Anne in It Wasn’t Me Miss, Peggy in Comfort Herself and Tessa in Dinosaur Camp (BBC Radio 3); Kailey in Take That Lennon and Sid, King Street Junior and The Watergypsies (BBC Radio 4); and the Reader for Poem for Dunblane (US Radio).
Sarah could most recently be seen performing in The Lost Christmas (Trafalgar Studios) as part of the Perfect Pitch season, and is thrilled to be playing Scaramouche in the first national tour of We Will Rock You.
