Rachel was born in London and trained at Roehampton University.
Theatre includes: Shenzi in the Asian tour of The Lion King; Ensemble and understudy for Shenzi and Rafiki at the Lyceum Theatre, London, which marked her West End debut. Previous to this she appeared in the stage show The Legend of the Lion King at the Disneyland Resort, Paris. Rachel also performed in Running Scared/DV8 at the Millennium Dome and Godspell at St George Monoux College.
