Ensemble, Rebel Leader & Understudy for Pop & KhashoggiDean Read
Dean was born and raised in Pontypool, South Wales and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts.
Since graduating Dean has worked two contracts for Cruising Musicals Consortiums on P&O flagships Oriana and Aurora, and played a variety of roles including: Danny in Grease, Elvis in Elvis the Musical, Jack Chesney in Charley’s Aunt and an ugly sister in Cinderella.
Other pantomime experience includes: Prince Charming in Cinderella and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast, both for Paul Holman Associates.
Touring productions include: Hunter in Houdini the Musical, and most recently Dean played Reuben and understudied and played the role of Pharaoh in Bill Kenwright’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Television appearances include: Songs of Praises and Dragons’ Den - Where Are They Now?
Dean is delighted to be joining this first tour of We Will Rock You and dedicates this to his family and friends who have supported him over the years.
