Philip Comley

(Swing & Dance Captain)

Philip trained at Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey, having begun dancing at the Doreen Bailey School of Dance in his hometown of Oxford.

Upon graduating Philip appeared in Ready Steady Dance with Wayne Sleep and also Swing from the Heart at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton.

In 2002 Philip made his West End debut in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium. He can also be heard on the original cast recording and seen on the 'making of' video/DVD.

Television appearances include: Blue Peter, Children in Need 2002 and ITV's Christmas Show.

Most recently, Philip would have been seen in Grease at the Piccadilly Theatre, London where he understudied the roles of Eugene and Sonny, and performed the role of Eugene on numerous occasions. Philip played the Cheese Grater in the UK tour of Disney's Beauty and the Beast and played Carbucketty and Coricapat on the tour of Cats where he also performed the role of Mr Mistoffelees on many occasions.
