Andrew Simeon

Andrew studied performing arts at Gorseinon College in south Wales, before continuing his training at Bird College of Dance and Musical Theatre in London. Whilst training, Andrew was a member of the Bird Theatre Company, with which he toured extensively throughout Europe. This included Austria, performing at the Festspielhaus as a featured soloist in a Rodgers and Hart revue, and also in Estoril, Portugal.

Theatre credits include: The Boys in the Band play (directed by Christopher Biggins); Jest End (Leicester Square Theatre, London); swing in We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre, London); swing in We Will Rock You (original UK tour); the leading role of Billy in The Snow Dragon (Watermans Theatre, London); Marine Richard West in South Pacific (UK tour); Rusty, Electra, Caboose, Flat Top, Purse and Krupp in Starlight Express (Bochum, Germany); ensemble/cover Catsmeat in Snow White (Victoria Palace, London); All That Jazz (UK tour); Young Man in Revelation (Greenwich Theatre); Eugene in Grease (CMC) and musical theatre revues aboard the MV Aurora.

Television: street vandalism commercial (BBC); singer on The Late Late Show (RTÉ 1); The All Ireland Talent Show, Dancer (RTÉ 1); music video ‘Fallin’ for You’ by Ashley Robles; music video ‘3am’ by Kate Nash; Children in Need (BBC); Blue Peter (CBBC); VW motor show in Geneva and Liquorice Allsorts (S4C).

Choreography/assisting and artistic direction: Wii console game ABBA: You Can Dance commercial and casting (Halliford Studios, London); Kate Nash’s ‘3am’ music video;

Sleeping Beauty (UK Productions, Rhyl); creation of a new musical, Stars Falling; workshop of Paul Nicholas’ new musical, Blockbuster(London); Jean Paul Gaultier range launch (London); La Perla fashion show (London); Stageworks corporate events (various locations across the country); big band annual concert (Cambridge); Rock Raiser cabaret (London); creative director for The West End in Concert, creating such shows as The West End at Christmas and the UK tour of The West End at the Movies. Andrew is thrilled to return to We Will Rock You and would like to thank his family and friends for their endless love and support.
