Sullivan joins the WWRY London cast next month taking over the role from the departing Alex Gaumond, and makes his first night appearance on the Dominion Theatre stage on Monday February 20.

Gaumond, who joined the London cast of We Will Rock You last August after his award-nominated appearance in Legally Blonde, leaves the show to focus on his recording career. Gaumond’s farewell performance will be Saturday February 18.

He has appeared in a host of stage musicals including Fame, Grease, Love Shack, Flashdance, and Simply Ballroom, as well as high profile concert performances including the Royal Gala opening of his home country Wales’ Millennium Centre.

Sullivan is cast through to late October and will serve as part of the company which will take We Will Rock You to its marathon 10th anniversary which will be celebrated at the theatre May 14th and through the London 2012 Olympics. Sullivan joins an on-going cast which includes Lauren Samuels as Scaramouche, Brenda Edwards as Killer Queen, Kevin Kennedy as Pop, Rachel John as Meat, Alasdair Harvey as Khashoggi, and Wayne Robinson as Britney.

Playing to over 12,000 people weekly, and a standing ovation at ever show, We Will Rock You has now been seen by close on 6 million people at the Dominion alone and over 13 million worldwide. The Olivier Awards 2011 saw We Will Rock You officially crowned the UK’s favourite show in the only vote cast entirely by the public.

The show is presently booking to October 2012.
